Sushant Singh Rajput upcoming movies and early life

Life is not a pre planned journey. Life is full of surprises and uncertainties, so everyone should live the life that they dream of. One of the very good example of this quote is Sushant Singh Rajput who has started his acting career by doing small roles in daily TV soaps. But now Sushant Singh Rajput's upcoming movie is a biopic of India's most successful captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.



Early life of Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant was born and raised in Patna, Bihar, where is father worked as a government official. His family moved to Delhi in 2002.


In the same year He completed his 12th from Kulachi Hansraj Model School. He was very bright student. Very few people know that he was the 7th rank holder in AIEEE which helped him get a seat into India's top most college DCE (Delhi college of engineering) which is currently known as DTU (Delhi technological university).


He was also a national olympaid winner in physics. He cleared as many as 11 engineering entrance exam including for ISM Dhanbad. In his college days he wanted to learn dance, So as an extra curricular activities he joined Shiamak Davar's dance classes.


Sushant Singh Rajput was selected in shiamak Davar's standard dance troupe and participated in many dancing events. He further went on to join drama classes. But these extra curricular activities had a bad impact on his studies.


He was more interested in making a career in film industry rather than completing his education. He decided to live his dreams and took a bold decision to quit his engineering in the 3rd year.


And that is what we should all aspire for. Do what you love, love what you do.
He moved to Mumbai and joined Nadira Babbar's Ekjute theatre group. In the meantime He also featured in the famous TV Advertisement of Nestle Munch.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s TV And Film Industry Career


In 2008 Sushant was spotted by casting team of Balaji telefilms and got his First role as Preet Juneja in serial 'Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil'.


In June 2009 Sushant started working in serial Pavitra Rishta as Manav Deshmukh. This role was a breakthrough for him.


His work in the serial received wide appreciation and he received 3 major television awards for best actor for this role. He also appeared in dance reality shows like Zara nachke dikha 2 and Jhalak Dikhla jaa 4.


In October 2011, Sushant decided to quit Pavitra Rishta to pursue Film-making course abroad.


In 2013 Sushant was selected for his first role in abhishek Kapoor's film Kai Po che. He played one of the three leads along with Rajkumar Rao and Amit sadh. The film was critical and commercial success.


Sushant received praises from critics for his role in the movie. Sushant's second movie was Shuddh Desi Romance, alongside Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor. The film was directed by Maneesh sharma and produced by Yashraj films.


Sushant next film PK was a very big opportunity for him to work with Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir Khan. He played the love interest of Anushka Sharma in the movie. Pk proved to be the highest-grossing Indian films.


In 2015, Rajput was main lead of Dibakar Banerjee's Detective Byomkesh Bakshy. His performance in the film was appreciated but the film was only medium success on the box office as is typical for parallel cinema.


In his next movie Sushant Singh Rajput will play the role of Indian cricket Icon Mahendra Singh Dhoni. This film is a biopic of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, named as 'MS DHONI- THE UNTOLD STORY'.


Film is directed by Neeraj Pandey who is the director of movies like A Wednesday, Special Chabbis and Baby. This film might be a big milestone in Sushant Singh Rajput's career because MS Dhoni is already one of the most popular cricketer in the world. The film will release on 30th september 2016. After this movie Sushant's next movie will be Dinesh Vijan's 'Raabta' opposite Kriti Sanan. The film also stars Deepika Padukone in an item number.
